Day 6 - Wednesday, August 25th 2010

And back to the Monday schedule! We did the electric slide in ballroom dance today – interesting. I'm trying to scope out a guy with half a sense of rhythm to ask to be my partner. It was a difficult task. I beasted in calculus, but that's only because I did do the homework. Yay me for being on top of things. I also used my prior calculus knowledge (what I actually remembered anyway) to do a 5-minute problem in 2 seconds. I might not be as screwed as I originally thought I was. Chemistry was a random review, but we were assigned to read chapter one. I already did that too. If I stay this motivated, I should be good to go. I got lost on the way to my honors picnic, so that was great. It was nice to be around my honors peeps though, and I recognized people in my history class. English Literature wasn't bad. We listened to the “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God” sermon. Pretty intense, but I'm not so big on the colonial/puritan stuff. Can't wait for “Angels in America” and some of the poems.

I went home after class today because my uncle and pop decided to change phone plans. So hey, new phone. It's pretty sweet actually, since it's like a step down from the droid/iPhone. I'll figure it out eventually and I’m sure I’ll love it very much. I also got some good old Italian home cooking, sauce and all, and took a power nap. Michael joined for the ride to Hazleton. Once I got back, I went to the pool with Krystin for a late night pool party where she life-guarded. I didn't have a swimsuit, so I just stood off to the side and observed with her (she got hit on by this asshole of a guy for the last hour of the night, kind of hilarious). We were near the diving boards and there was much splashing, so my objective was to protect the phone. Woo! Headed back to the dorm, did some reading and called Miss Katherine (Kati). Also, I don't have class until noon tomorrow!
